International Adoption - China
Our Trip to get Jasmine.
Wherever we went in Changsha, we were getting a lot of attention
from the local people.
They all wanted to know where we came
from and what we were doing. They all wanted to touch the babies
and we were asked all the time if the babies were boys, even
though we had them dressed in pink with hair bows, and everything.
Our agency had given us cards to hang around our neck which
explained in Chinese who we were and what we were doing in
Changsha.

We had a LOT of people grab the card around our neck to
read it, and they were all so nice! They would smile and
say things
like: "Lucky baby"!...
After being in Changsha for five days, it was time to move
on to Guangzhou. By this time all of us had really started to
bond with our babies and our travel group had started to become
a family.
We
had a wonderful time in Changsha. It was nice to experience
life - even if it was just a little bit - in Hunan, since this
is where our daughters were born. We had one last dinner in
a nice restaurant in our hotel and then it was time to pack
and
get ready for the next part of the trip.

This picture was taken on our last night in Changsha....
