So everyone always asks how long it takes to adopt. Of course it varies on so many factors that are out of your control but here's our timeline so far...to be updated when warranted, of course...

* June 14, 2004 -- Contacted agency and submitted application
* June 19, 2004 -- Accepted by agency (initial application and pre-qualification)
* June 30, 2004 -- Received name of social worker and scheduled first home visit
* July 8, 2004 -- First homestudy visit (joint interview)
* July 16, 2004 -- Second homestudy visit (joint interview)
* July 22, 2004 -- Sent I600A to Charlotte, NC INS Office
* July 22, 2004 -- Third homestudy visit (individual interview - Karen only)
* July 30, 2004 -- Fourth homestudy visit (individual interview - Scott only)
* August 2, 2004 -- Received fingerprint appointment from Charlotte, NC INS Office
* August 6, 2004 -- Fifth homestudy visit (joint interview)
* August 25, 2004 -- Fingerprint appointment at Charlotte, NC INS Office
* September 13, 2004 -- Homestudy submitted to Charlotte, NC INS Office
* November 30, 2004 -- Received 171H!!! (YAY!!)
* December 20, 2004 -- Dossier to China
* January 4, 2005 -- Logged in to the CCAA system in China
