Adoption Timeline:

June 2001 - Accepted referral of Wiliam Alexander Lopez Paz (our John Daniel).

October 2001 - Dossier submitted to Guatemala

January 2002 - Entered Family Court

February 2002 - Completed Family Court/DNA test

March 2002 - US Embassy approves DNA results

April 2002 - Entered PGN

April 19, 2002 - Kicked out of PGN request updated photo. File resubmitted April 29, 2002

May 3, 2002 - Kicked out of PGN request gov't document. File resubmitted May 13, 2002

May 20, 2002 - New Director in PGN - no cases to be released for 10 days

May 27, 2002 - PGN up and running again. Kicked out of PGN - updated medical evaluation of Danny. Resubmitted May 31, 2002

June 6, 2002 - Kicked out of PGN - lost birthmother's birth cert. Resubmitted into PGN on June 7, 2002.

July 16, 2002 - Released from PGN!! Danny is officially our son!

September 19, 2002 - Danny's Passport is issued!

September 29, 2002 - We travel to Guatemala City.

October 17, 2002 - DANNY IS HOME.
