Los Niños International Adoption Center recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Founded in 1981 as a full service adoption agency, Los Niños was the 2nd US adoption agency approved to work in China in 1992.

Los Niños operates in all 50 states in the US and works with US ex-patriots abroad.
Currently, Los Niños has programs in China, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Kazakhstan, Panama and Ukraine.

They also work with the “Tomorrow Plan”. An orphan related charity that provides surgeries and medical attention to needy children.

Los Niños has placed over 2,600 children since 1981. When working with the agency, an individual case worker is assigned who walks you through the international adoption process.

Los Niños prides itself on the motto “We’re wrapping the world in family ties”. They also base their work on three core values, “emotional support, integrity and accountability”.
The founders of Los Niños, Heino R. Erichsen and Jean Nelson-Erichsen, are also authors. Their book, “How to Adopt Internationally”, is available from their web site.
